Covalent Intermediate Bounding

AGESIA has developed a technology to connect thermoplastic composite products in a fast and energy-efficient way.  This unique and patented process (CIB, Covalent Intermediate Bounding) connects two different thermoplastic matrices chemically. This process is different than gluing or heat welding. The CIB process also works to connect thermoplastic composite layers to metal. The technology is especially interesting for applications in which the combination of strength and lightweight is important.
